Richa Gulati

Ms. Gulati is a Partner and Chief Regulatory Officer in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Ms. Gulati was Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel of Angelo, Gordon & Co. Previously, Ms. Gulati was Chief Compliance Officer of Willett Advisors LLC, which manages the philanthropic assets of Michael R. Bloomberg, including the assets of Bloomberg Philanthropies. In addition, Ms. Gulati served in the legal and compliance roles at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and the D. E. Shaw Group. She began her legal career as a Litigation Associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, LLP. Ms. Gulati holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in Plan II Studies and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
