Matt Collingwood

Mr. Collingwood is a Managing Director in the Fund Tax Group of the Ares Finance and Accounting Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Collingwood was European Tax Counsel for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co Partners LLP, where he focused on investment structuring and fund related tax issues. Previously, Mr. Collingwood was a Director on the Transaction Tax team of Ernst & Young. In addition, Mr. Collingwood was a Senior Manager at Deloitte, where he focused on advising private equity and corporate clients on pan-European transactions. Mr. Collingwood holds an M.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
