Greg Shurter

Mr. Shurter is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. diversified real estate equity portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Shurter was a Senior Vice President at Black Creek Group, where he focused on fund valuation and portfolio management. Previously, Mr. Shurter was a Director at Hines, where his duties included deal underwriting, financial planning and analysis, portfolio management and investor reporting for multiple private equity emerging market real estate funds. Mr. Shurter holds a B.B.A. from the University of Houston in Finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas.
