Matt Welch

Mr. Welch is a Principal in the Ares Corporate Strategy Group, where he focuses on the ongoing global expansion of the firm through mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic partnerships and investments. Additionally, Mr. Welch serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2016, Mr. Welch was an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Mr. Welch holds a B.B.A., summa cum laude, from George Washington University in Finance.
