Varun Gupta

Mr. Gupta is a Vice President in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending, including portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Gupta was a Chief Manager in the International Banking Group, Corporate Banking at ICICI Bank Limited, where he was responsible for managing the existing international corporate portfolio, comprised of syndicated leveraged loans portfolio and trade products, and also managed a team of credit analysts. Previously, Mr. Gupta was a Senior Associate at State Street Corporate Services. In addition, he was a Consultant at Genpact Enterprise Risk Consulting. Mr. Gupta holds a P.G.D.M. from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore in Finance.
