Roy Cheong

Mr. Cheong is a Vice President in Ares Asia, where he focuses on credit. Prior to joining Ares in 2025, Mr. Cheong was a Vice President at Townsend Group, where he focused on acquisition and asset management of real estate across Asia Pacific. Previously, he was a Principal at KKR Asia Limited, where he was responsible for real estate investments in Korea. In addition, Mr. Cheong was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays in New York and London. He holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in Economics.
