Nate Simon

Mr. Simon is a Vice President in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending, including portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Simon was a Senior Vice President in the Turnaround and Restructuring Group at AlixPartners, where he focused on advising debtors and creditors on liquidity management, business planning, restructuring strategy and operational improvements in distressed situations. Mr. Simon holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan in Economics and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Simon is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
