Michael Thomas

Mr. Thomas is a Vice President in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. industrial real estate development and construction management. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Thomas was a Vice President at Madison Marquette, where he was responsible for all construction management activity in the Southeast region. In that role, Mr. Thomas directed design and construction activity on several institutionally owned properties. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Newmark, where he was responsible for all third-party project management business, including managing a team of dedicated project managers. Mr. Thomas holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia in English.
