Matias Demant

Mr. Demant is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on European real estate equity asset management. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Demant was a Director at Lapithus (Apollo Global Management), where he focused on asset management of real estate and distressed debt investments in Europe. Previously, Mr. Demant was a Senior Economist at Nykredit, where he focused on structured funding and mortgage lending. Mr. Demant holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
