Leslie Koehn Haughom

Ms. Haughom is a Vice President in Ares Real Estate, where she focuses on U.S. industrial real estate equity portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Ms. Haughom was an Associate in Portfolio Management at Black Creek Group. Previously, Ms. Haughom was a Treasury Advisory Manager at Chatham Financial, where she assisted clients in quantifying foreign currency and interest rate risk, developed strategies to mitigate said risk and oversaw the execution of the agreed upon strategy. In addition, Ms. Haughom was a Senior Consultant at CAST Management Consultants (now West Monroe Partners), where she provided management, strategy and analytical consulting services to a variety of clients across the financial services sector. Ms. Haughom serves as the chair of the WNBC – Professional Development sub-committee and co-chair of NAIOP Developing Leaders National Forum. Ms. Haughom holds a B.Sc., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. (Hons) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Finance. Ms. Haughom also holds a Certificate in Real Estate Investment from Harvard Extension School.
