Mr. Bestall is a Managing Director in Ares Asia, where he focuses on private equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Bestall was a Managing Director at Crescent Point, where he focused on hotel acquisitions and the operating properties under Crescent Point. Previously, Mr. Bestall was a Senior Director at Hilton, where he focused on the growth and expansion of Hilton's brands throughout Asia. In addition, Mr. Bestall was a Senior Manager at Alila Hotels & Resort, where he focused on development, feasibility and technical services. Mr. Bestall began his career as an Analyst at HVS, where he focused on hotel valuations and feasibility studies. Mr. Bestall holds a B.S. (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, United Kingdom in International Hospitality Management and Business.
