Ian Maccubbin

Mr. Maccubbin is a Principal in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on the group's commercial finance platform. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Maccubbin was a Principal in the Private Credit Group at Carlyle, where he focused originating, structuring and underwriting deals within the asset-based and backed sector. Previously, Mr. Maccubbin was a Vice President at PNC Financial Services Group and Wells Fargo. Mr. Maccubbin holds a B.S. from the University of Connecticut in Business Administration, major in Finance and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University's Sawyer School of Business.
