Managing Director and Head of APAC Compliance
Ms. Siau is a Managing Director and Head of APAC Compliance in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Ms. Siau was a Managing Director at Angelo Gordon, where she was the APAC Chief Compliance Officer. Previously, Ms. Siau was the Head of APAC Investment Compliance and North Asia Chief Compliance Officer at PIMCO. Additionally, she was the Head of APAC Compliance at DWS and the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Investment Compliance, Asia ex Japan at Neuberger Berman. Ms. Siau began her career in asset management with Central Provident Fund Board, Singapore and has since been actively involved in the development of compliance programs applicable to APAC jurisdictions including Greater China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. Ms. Siau holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of London in Management and an M.B.A. from the Nanyang Technological University.
