Christian Ruflin

Mr. Ruflin is a Principal in the Ares Corporate Strategy Group, where he focuses on the ongoing global expansion of the firm through mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic partnerships and investments. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Ruflin was a Director at BlackRock, where he focused on driving corporate development activities including acquisitions and minority investments across Europe. Previously, he was a Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Ruflin holds a B.A. from the University of St. Gallen in Business Administration and an M.Sc. from the Stockholm School of Economics in Finance.
