Carl Gustaf Ihre

Mr. Ihre is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2009, Mr. Ihre was an Associate Director in the Leveraged Finance Group of the Royal Bank of Scotland in Stockholm, Sweden, where he focused on Nordic large cap leveraged finance transaction underwriting including both senior and mezzanine debt. Previously, Mr. Ihre was an Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the European Capital Goods team and bank and high yield financings in the Leveraged Corporate Finance Group. Mr. Ihre holds an M.Sc. from the Stockholm School of Economics in Finance and International Business.
