Asako Barker

Ms. Barker is a Vice President in the Ares Global Client Solutions Group, where she focuses on institutional client service in Japan. Prior to joining Ares in 2018, Ms. Barker was an Equity Sales at Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong, where she focused on Japanese equities sales to institutional clients. Previously, was an Assistant Manager at Credit Agricole (Suisse), where she focused on managing portfolios of high net worth clients. In addition, Ms. Barker was an Analyst at Nikko Citigroup, where she focused on investment banking. Ms. Barker holds a B.A. from The University of Tokyo in Economics and an M.P.P. from the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Public Policy.
