Aashish Dhakad

Mr. Dhakad is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, he was a Managing Director and Head of Consumer and Retail Leveraged Finance at BofA Securities, where he focused on originating and structuring leveraged finance transactions. Previously, Mr. Dhakad was a Vice President at UBS. In addition, he was an Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. He holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina's Keenan-Flagler Business School at Chapel Hill, with a double major in Business Administration and History.
